This chic modern home was designed by interiors studio ARRCC, tucked away in a beautiful lush suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. This statement-making home stands out not only for its glass-fronted architecture, but also it’s vibrant interiors scheme. Inspired by the homeowner’s vast art collection, the designer’s were able to create dynamic living spaces. This immediately evident in the striking marble enhanced entry hall of this home designed by Jenny Mills Architecture. An attention grabbing, geometric Emmemobili Arlequin C cabinet is complimented by a two-tone suede sofa, angular rug and organically shaped side table. The scene sets a welcoming environment that is carried through to the rest of the residence.

Above: Color is the primary focus in this informal lounge area. A marine-blue area rug grounds the space, while teal cushions and green ceramic side tables by Paola Navone for Baxter brings harmony to the aquamarine theme.
Above: Adding a playful vibe to this family room is a pair of ottomans covered in chevron-patterned Missoni fabric in sorbet hues. In the far right corner, a custom-built DJ booth is designed in dark and light gray tones adds to the entertainment experience of this living space.
Set around the fireplace are beautiful designer pieces, such as the Gloob armchair and Lean on Me standing lamp by designer Adam Court, sourced from bespoke furniture studio OKHA. The furnishings adds a contrasting effect, their whiteness infusing an element of cool crispness into this inviting interior. “Colorful balloon-like glass vases from OKHA’s curated accessories collection further embrace the elegant play of colorful form,” states the designers.
Above: The use of materials selection on the staircase that leads down to the basement is just another example of the exquisite attention to detail that can be found throughout this home. “Crema Marfil marble, glass balustrades with brass cladding, and dark-stained timber all create unique textures in this stairwell,” states ARRCC designer Quintin Gilman. The focal point of the staircase wall is a laser-cut, coated-steel cladding, which was back-lit to create a dramatic effect.
