Beautiful contemporary home in Potrero Hill boasts sophisticated interiors

Contemporary Home Design-Jute Interior Design-01-1 Kindesign

This beautiful contemporary home was designed by Jute Interior Design, located in Potrero Hill, a residential neighborhood in San Francisco, California. The interiors of this residence are infused with clean lines, no-fuss spaces, plenty of natural light and a very inviting feel. The living room (pictured above) offers a very cozy atmosphere, with a gas-burning fireplace and built-in seating adjacent to it.

The fireplace surround is concrete, attached separately via epoxy. A custom designed coffee table with a steel base and leather top doubles as an ottoman. It is flanked by a plush sofa by A Rudin on one side and comfortable armchairs on the other. A light hardwood flooring is covered by a textural area rug to help delineate the space and add comfort underfoot. A neutral palette throughout the home keeps the space feeling open and airy.

A beautiful bay window in the living room brings in plenty of natural light, with window treatments that can help to shade the space from the elements.

What We Love: The interiors of this Potrero Hill home reflect comfortable yet well-edited spaces that are cozy and welcoming. The designer makes great use of mixing together neutrals, textures, and rustic, natural materials to create visually pleasing design. We love the neutral color palette and how it has been carried throughout the interiors of this contemporary home. How about you, what is your favorite room in the house and why?

Note: The leather armchair on the far right of the living room in the above image was sourced from Bassam Fellows.
