This custom hillside retreat features a European-California influenced design by Witt Construction, positioned high above Saratoga Lake, in Stillwater, New York. This beautiful property is vacation home for a family of four. The exterior facade of this residence is finished with a combination of reclaimed cypress wood, stucco and stone (black bear granite). The roofing materials is a combination of copper and slate. While inside, the 5,356 square foot interiors—spread out over three levels—was completed by award-winning design studio Beverly Tracy Home Design. Custom features includes venetian plaster walls, furnishings and lighting, and textiles sourced from New Mexico.

There are several luxury amenities this home has to offer, including gourmet kitchen, beautiful dining and living areas, a custom designed office/lounge, as well as a yoga studio. All the areas of the home were designed and built with entertaining and relaxation in mind. During the warm summer months, an outdoor veranda offers the perfect spot to soak up the sun. The sofa and ottoman and most of the furnishings you see throughout this custom hillside retreat are pieces custom designed by Henredon Furniture.

The center island in the kitchen is a granite slab called Breccia Paradiso, while the perimeter countertops are a finished concrete. The cabinets are by Bentwood, while the door is their Komo model comprised of Alder wood and finished with an Antique Bronze.

Note: The paint in the main rooms of this home was faux finished by a custom decorative painter. The walls are textured and painted with Sherwin Williams – Accessible Beige #SW7036, Balanced Beige #SW 7037, and Functional Gray #SW7024. For the ceilings, Sherwin Williams – Aesthetic White #SW7035.

In the sunroom, the flooring features a local Blue Stone that is cut and laid to create a unique pattern.

The master bedroom features a custom wall color, paint and plaster textured finish. The paint was sourced from Sherwin Williams, Wool Skein #SW6148, along with Aesthetic White #SW7035.

Above: A spa-like master bathroom retreat offers the perfect oasis of relaxation. The hardwood flooring is reclaimed Knotty White Oak, installed in random widths. The custom vanity is Urban Loft by Bentwood in Coastal Teak, horizontal grain with a honed marble countertop. The walls are custom designed, clad with Autumn Trail Stone and placed in a variety of sizes.
