A full contemporary renovation of an apartment that has been completed by local design firm Bricks Amsterdam, located on the Vondelstraat in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The interiors of this home combines classical elements with more contemporary details, culminating in a timeless eclecticism. Open and airy spaces feature comfortable furniture arrangements that are very inviting. The entryway into the home showcases a stunning oak planked wood flooring in a herringbone pattern that travels into the living room. The living room offers large steel frame windows and french doors that spill out onto a cozy balcony. The kitchen has an interesting mix of checkered black and white flooring, rustic wood cabinetry topped with concrete counters and a white subway tile backsplash. The dining room and bathrooms also feature the same black and white checkered flooring. The master bathroom carries the same rustic wood cabinetry from the kitchen. It also has a steel shower enclosure, which adds a beautiful industrial style aesthetic to the space. The end result is a spacious apartment that provides great flow and harmonious interiors.
