Stunning modern loft in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver

Vancouver Loft-01-1 Kindesign

The Mac N Mo show was Katie and Jordan’s first purchase together. Katie, growing up in a family of electricians and Jordan, growing up with a builder for a father and designer for a mother, they had only one month to fully renovate this Mount Pleasant, Vancouver loft in the Mecca building. The living space features over 850 square feet of living space with one bedroom and one bathroom, 22 foot high ceilings and concrete flooring throughout the lower level, separated by tile in the bathroom. The fully renovated loft features a white glossy kitchen and grey quartz countertops, stainless steel LG appliances throughout accented with frosted glass backsplash.  The stark white and grey kitchen and bathroom is warmed up by a feature wall of cedar panels which extends into the office under the stairs and the fireplace wall. The upper deck was built super slick with a full on walk-in closet and an attic space above that for even more storage. Behind the bed is a hand painted wall by Jordan’s mother Judy. This project was a dream come true for the couple and an experiment on the whole process of house flipping. Jordan a real estate agent with tons of construction background (winner of HGTV’s Canada’s handyman superstar challenge) and Katie (an ex BC lion Cheerleader) a super organized purchaser for a large industrial electrical company, they called on all their assets to help make this dream come true.

This loft has now been listed for sale at $499,000, from here.

A special thanks Jordan for bringing this loft to our attention, please let us know your thoughts on this cool loft below!
