Designed by Cioffi Architect, this stunning mid-century modern home is ideally located in the Las Palmas Heights neighborhood of Palm Springs, California. This modern structure reflects indoor-outdoor living areas that are perfect for entertaining guests. Highlights includes expansive retractable glass doors and dramatic dual-sided fireplace in the living room and outdoor living area.
There is also a fantastic chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances and a gallery area that surrounds the great room. Additionally, there is a guest house on the property, ideal to hosts weekend guests. The home was designed to maximize the views of the mountains and canyons as well as the incredible outdoor living areas of the pool and spa. The homeowners are both artists, as well as avid art collectors. Around their home, you will find works of art from their fellow artist community.
The homeowners designed and furnished the interiors of their property themselves. They brought in contemporary furnishings from their previous residence to integrate into the design—they previously lived in a barn conversion in Pennsylvania.

Above: A retractable glass wall in the master bedroom opens the space up to the partially covered outdoor patio. The deep roof overhangs helps to shade the home during the hot summer months of this desert landscape. This home only has one bedroom, but the property itself hosts two guest casitas. They face the swimming pool and have simple floorplans that mimic each other.
