This custom dream home, nestled along Lake Minnetonka in Orono, Minnesota, was designed by Thompson Construction and O’Hara Interiors to take advantage of its idyllic location. This dwelling was a long-time dream for these homeowners, who desired a warm, cozy, and super-inviting home. It needed to be open and spacious for entertaining, with plenty of charm and character.
They’d lived on this beautiful piece of land overlooking the lake for years, yet they always knew that they wanted to start anew and build their dream home on the property. To do this, the homeowners enlisted commissioned the project team to design a new build perfectly tailored to their lifestyle, which revolves around hosting, cooking, working remotely, and being active.
