The transitional timber frame home with farmhouse style interiors was designed by Wright Design, located in The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, South Carolina. This picturesque home is ideally positioned on a lakeside setting, offering spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountain range in the distance. The exterior facade features a wrap-around porch where the homeowners can comfortably lounge on their outdoor seating areas and take advantage of these fantastic vistas.

Material elements of natural stone, encompassing river rock, granite and Tennessee field stone, intermingles with wavy edge cedar siding and a cedar shingle roof—helping to connect the exterior of the dwelling with its surroundings. Stepping through the inviting front entryway into the interiors, you will find casual yet elegant aesthetic. The interior spaces seem to flow effortlessly into the outdoor living areas, blurring the indoor-outdoor boundaries. The use of natural materials is highlighted throughout.
