This gorgeous transitional, neutral style home was reimagined by Legend Homes together with JFY Designs, nestled on 1.37 acres in Nashville, Tennesse. Encompassing 7,864 square feet of living space there are five bedrooms and six bathrooms in this family home filled with fabulous details.
The goal was to create a home that is very comfortable, cozy, and inviting with lots of layering and very neutral textures and woods. The designer peppered in slight touches of drama, which can be seen in the warmer, spicy tones with some charcoal, and touches of greens that bring the outdoors inside… Be sure to watch the video home tour at the end of the post!

What We Love: This beautiful house was reimagined with a gorgeous neutral color scheme throughout its interior living spaces. We absolutely love the kitchen with its stunning waterfall countertop and exquisite pendant lights — such a statement-making space. The designer did an amazing job of completely revamping this home to cater to the homeowner’s personality and lifestyle needs to make this house a home.

Above: When you first step inside the front door, the room to the left was originally a formal dining room. It was transformed into a fabulous home office, featuring huge iron and glass doors that can be closed off for privacy. The space was decorated with more feminine tones but still kept it neutral.
Above: This cozy homework nook is where the owner’s kids spend a lot of their time. It was decorated to feel cozy yet playful. An old rake that was pulled behind horses was repurposed into a hat rack on the wall. On the floor is a beautiful vintage rug.

Above: The homeowners have three daughters and their bedroom spaces were designed to function well while being very pretty. The spaces each cater to their unique personalities while still being cohesive to the rest of the house.
Above: The family spends a lot of their time outdoors. This beautiful and expansive patio is perfect for indoor-outdoor living. Located just off the great room through sliding glass doors, it is like a second a second living room for them. Sheltered from the elements, this space is comfortable for lounging for hours while enjoying views of the swimming pool and beyond to the woodsy property.
Above: The coffee tables are repurposed old carts that were sourced from factories. The wheels were removed and bases were added to make the tables. It brings a lot of character into the space.
Above: Another highly used space in the home is this game room. Located at the back of the house, it is where the kids watch movies and hang out. It is also the darkest room in the house with its paint selection, however, the abundance of windows helps to keep the space light and airy. This space connects to the backyard patio and pool, giving it a wonderful indoor-outdoor feel.
