This stunning contemporary home was created by Morgante Wilson Architects, situated on a peaceful forested property in Chenequa, Wisconsin. Nestled into a wooded bluff overlooking stunning views of North Lake, this dwelling was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of classic rural American Architecture to fulfill the owner’s request for a contemporary house that did not look out of place.
Stone Parapet walls repeat throughout the residence as both an architectural motif and a practical means of physically separating the public and private living spaces. Other traditional features have been re-imagined to give the house both its striking appearance and comfortable familiarity.
