This airy and bright vertical lake house was designed by J Hurst & Associates together with Beth Howley Creative, nestled along the shores of Paw Paw Lake, Michigan. After living in this tear-down on their lakefront property, the homeowners desired to construct a home that would serve as a cherished family legacy.
With five bedrooms and a spacious bunk room accommodating ten, this lake house retreat offers ample space to comfortably host extended family and numerous friends. The enclosed upper deck and the inviting open patio off the lower level create two incredible spaces to entertain guests by the water’s edge.

Throughout the main and second floors, a harmonious blend of light-stained wood, fresh whites, and vibrant pops of color creates a warm and inviting ambiance. Contrasting with this, the lower level showcases a contemporary aesthetic, boasting dark-stained concrete floors, rich wood stains, and striking black accents.
