This beautiful transitional style house was designed by Brandon Architects together with Patterson Custom Homes, located on the Flower Streets of Corona Del Mar, California. The team collaborated to design this family home with the intention of passing it through the generations.

This dwelling was constructed of the highest quality with a rich interior and exterior material palette. Warmth and comfort can be found throughout, along with a blurring of lines between indoor and outdoor living. This dwelling encompasses 6,012 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, an 848 square foot four-car garage, a bar, a lounge, and an elevator (perfect for aging in place).

What We Love: This Corona Del Mar house features a wonderful indoor-outdoor living environment that is ideal for a waterfront lifestyle. This expansive home is perfect for entertaining and hosting overnight guests who may wish to never leave! We are especially loving the outdoor living spaces with the relaxing patio areas and sumptuous swimming pool. The project team did a fantastic job of creating a home that will surely be enjoyed for generations to come.

Glass panels line the breezeway, flooding the home with natural light and a glimpse of the ocean. On the opposing side of the bridge, there is a grand owner’s suite wing.

Above: The top of the owner’s retreat fireplace has been furred out for the heat escape. This practice preserves the aesthetics of the design while allowing the heat to be safely vented out. ​​​​​​​​​

I counted 58 places to sit inside (not counting bath seating) and another 40 places to sit outside. Nuff said!
