This incredible modernist glass house was designed by NIMMO Architecture, located on 1.33 acres in Dallas, Texas. Inspired by the Farnsworth House designed by German-American architect, Mies van der Rohe. The home is constructed with concrete, steel, glass, and marble. The home is very eco-friendly and runs on a generator.
Inspired by the famous Farnsworth house, this modern masterpiece was constructed with 60 tons of steel, over 40 slabs of Calacatta marble and cantilevers over a 5 foot-deep basement. This dwelling encompasses 6,325 square feet of living space with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.
60 tons of steel and 40 slabs of marble were used in the construction of the home.
Encased by 9 foot floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the home ‘floats’ over the natural, minimalistic landscape intended to feel like art in park, designed by internationally-recognized Hocker Design Group.
