To create a more natural look for the exterior siding of this four-bedroom dwelling, it was stained rather than painted. What We Love: This beautiful ranch house offers sweeping views over California wine country, providing a peaceful environment for this home’s inhabitants. Expansive outdoor living spaces encourages spending time enjoying the wonderful climate while soaking in the views. Inside, a warm and inviting atmosphere offers comfortable living with stylish furnishings and fixtures throughout. We are especially loving the dining room, with its beautiful table for entertaining and mesmerizing views.

Above: A patio off the kitchen is sheltered by an ancient oak tree. The family hosts pizza parties on this patio, using fresh ingredients selected from their outdoor garden. This space features an Argentinean grill, a wood-burning pizza oven and a rolling table.

Above: The kitchen has a more modern aesthetic than the rest of the home. Above the island are Mater Terho Pendant lights. Designed by Finnish designer Maija Puoskari, these lights are inspired by nature, taking on an organic form of acorns.
Above: Providing a neutral backdrop to this inviting living room is Farrow & Ballโs Ammonite paint. The sofa is a custom design, while the cocktail table is by Holly Hunt. Grounding this space is a Turkish Kilim from Woven Accents.

Above: This outdoor porch can be screened off from pesky bugs courtesy of concealed roll-down screens. A weathered teak sectional is from Restoration Hardware, upholstered in Sutherland fabric. Accenting the sofa are lounge chairs by Gloster and a beautiful aged-brass side table sourced from Lawson Fenning. Grounding this space is a Marc Phillips outdoor rug.

Above: In the powder bathroom, sparrows are applied in an art-like form by wallpaper manufacturer Trove. The metal and leather mirror is from Orange Furniture.
Above: In the master bedroom, is a beautiful custom fabricated walnut bed, accented by vintage Paul Frankl bedside tables. Flanking the bed are wall sconces from Circa Lighting. Illuminating from above is a hand-woven yarn light fixture by Paul Marra. Anchoring the space is a Turkish Kilim area rug from Woven Accents. The walls are covered in wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries.
Above: The pool house seems to meld into the landscape thanks to a facade of Sonoma stone.
