1. DIY Sparkly Bottles. Add a festive touch to your champagne bottles with some gold glitter. To do this, you will need a bottle of champagne or sparkling wine, Super 77 adhesive spray, craft glitter, latex gloves, and a drop cloth or old sheet to protect your floors. Spray the bottle in sections, then add the glitter. Be sure to leave the top area glitter-free to pop the top! Get the full tutorial at the provided link. (via Ideas.evite)
2. Champagne Jello Sparkle Shots. If you are looking for something fun and festive to serve at your New Year’s Eve bash, try these jello shots. To make these, you will need champagne, lemon vodka, sugar, gelatin and sparkle sprinkles. You will also need a loaf pan for the ingredients to gel for three hours in a refrigerator. They can be cut out with a cookie cutter you have on hand, such as a star (you can find these at the dollar store, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond ). Get the tutorial at the link. (via Sparkling Charm)
3. DIY New Year’s Eve Photo Backdrop. For this, you will need glitter cardstock, bags of silver and gold balloons (dollar store, party store or craft store), curling ribbon, plastic table cover and a helium tank for the balloons (or get them pre-filled at your local party store or get a Helium Ballon kit for around $25 at Walmart or Target). TIP: Get creative with a table next to your photo backdrop, with some fun party looks: party bead necklaces, feather boas, over-sized sunglasses, party hats, etc. Get the full tutorial at the provided link. 4. Photo Guest Book. Using the backdrop we featured above, add a table to your photo corner with a camera. An instant camera can print out your photos, where your guests can take home their photo memories or add them to a photo collage. This can include taping them to your wall, pinning them on a corkboard, affixing them to a clothespin line, etc. You can also include a guest book for your party-goers to tape their picture, sign their name, and add their New Year’s resolution! When your guests arrive, they can take one and fill it out. Get the tutorial at the provided link. TIP: To DIY, get double-sided cardstock, black on one side, white on the other.
