This striking modern villa is designed for a young family by Marmol Radziner, located outside of the city center on a large property in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This home features expansive windows to capture views of the garden, canal, and natural area beyond. Respectful of its mid-century residential neighborhood, the largely opaque front and sides of the house provide privacy and a stark contrast to a back elevation of glass and steel.
What We Love: This incredible modern villa offers a strong connection with its surrounding natural environment. Throughout this home, the designer has referenced the modernist architecture of his home base, Los Angeles. We are especially loving home the street side of this home offers privacy, while the rear opens out to the surrounding garden.
