This beautiful farmhouse style home is designed by Alexander Design Group in collaboration with Stonewood, located on Lake Minnetonka, an inland lake just southwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Studio M Interiors was responsible for the exquisite interiors scheme of this 4,400 square foot, four bedroom house. The project team designed this dwelling to capture the mesmerizing lake views, boasting a 270 degree view of water.
From the four season porch to the master bedroom, the large and expansive windows make you feel as if you are literally floating on the water! Throughout the home, exposed beams and white oak floors are the perfect contrast with the white interior walls and black windows. In addition, the lower level features a bar, entertainment space, and a large exercise room. Continue below for the rest of this spectacular house tour…
What We Love: The project team did an exceptional job of mixing farmhouse style with nautical elements to create an overall cozy and warm aesthetic. Large picture windows incorporated throughout the home helps to frame views of this home’s tranquil lakeside setting. Crisp and clean interiors helps to not detract from the water views while also creating a desirable home for living and entertaining… Readers, do you think the project team was successful in creating a warm and inviting home?
