This rustic mountain home was designed by Studio V Interior Architecture and Design, located in Martis Camp, Truckee, California. This high country retreat offers a warm and inviting atmosphere surrounded by the whimsy of an enchanted forest. The materials used in the exterior facade of this home melds perfectly into the landscape.
Clerestory windows in the great room helps to keep the interiors feeling light and airy. The heavy use of wood elements integrated into both the exterior and interior adds an inviting warmth. Most of the furnishings used to decorate this home were custom designed and fabricated to fit the scale of the interior spaces.
