This beautiful Christmas decorated house is located along the Maresme coast in Spain, renovated with a Provencal aesthetic that enhances its old character. The original home was dark with many room. The new design reflects partitions and a neutral color palette that leaves the interiors feeling light and airy. To give it the Provencal look, a new fireplace was designed, along with a bedroom closet and bookshelf in the living room, using old doors and two original cupboards.
The kitchen cupboards were painted with a mixture of pigments, white lime and carpenter’s glue. As soon as Christmas arrives, the homeowner’s infuse the decor scheme with leaves and golden stars, garlands of fir with white and gold lights, tulle bows and Nordic-inspired motifs—a romantic setting is created for an unforgettable Christmas.
Christmas, although not snow, is always white in this house. Tules and Nordic-inspired ornaments unfold between walls and snowy furniture. Golden details and green branches round out a magical atmosphere. The homeowner even purchases white poinsettias for her home. The dining table features white sheets that were embroidered by her mother.
