This contemporary style residence was designed by architects Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro, located in the Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The estate home combines an elegance of the exterior architectural spaces fused with the use of glass that brings the outside in. The home is a celebration of natural light, with its extensive use of glass windows and sliding glass doors.
The design of the dwelling is long and narrow and was separated into wings. This enables visitors, upon entry, to see straight through to the backyard. A courtyard and gated entryway provides privacy at the front of the residence, while still enabling a beautiful glow from the sunset to radiate through the spaces at the end of the day.
On the interior, the architects applied traditional forms and materials as a canvas for modern design, creating an overall transitional effect. The outdoor living spaces offers the home’s inhabitants and guests plenty of fantastic amenities. This includes an expansive swimming pool, a tennis/basketball court, as well as a pool house that is equipped with a full gym. All of these are featured at the back of the property.
What We Love: This contemporary style residence features bright and airy living spaces thanks to ample windows and white walls that reflects light. Wood beamed ceilings, along with wooden flooring through most of the living spaces infuses warmth into the clean lined aesthetic.
