This dwelling has the most expansive interior and exterior doors the project team has ever installed—each spanning 10-13 feet!
“From a technical perspective, the home rests above 13 single air handlers to accommodate the fact that the home is built on one continuous level for a modern, contextual space for the homeowners.” states Cadre General Contractors. Highlights of this residence includes a handmade sculptural light garden. Also noteworthy, there are four boilers that manages snow melt on the driveways, radiant flooring and central courtyard.

As stated from the contractors: “A walk-in refrigerator and floors made of polished white cement with integrated radiant heat are examples of true custom design elements. Hidden pocketed mechanical shades protect interiors from solar heat gain and the central courtyard was built atop the finished family room, accessible via a sculptural staircase. A guest pavilion and various outdoor patio spaces make this an entertainer’s dream. Unique, white board-form cement retaining walls frame the home while melding into the local landscape.”
What We Love: This modern hillside home features expansive windows that creates a wonderful indoor/outdoor connection. The landscape architects created a beautiful outdoor environment for the homeowners to enjoy spending their summers outside entertaining guests. An open floor plan layout creates a harmonious flow throughout the spaces, while consistent material elements also helps to retain a connectedness.
