This coastal-inspired dream home was designed by Martha O’Hara Interiors and built by Roberts Wygal, located along the waters edge in Washington State. The interior design scheme reflects a transitional styling with a main color palette of blues, whites and grays and bright pops of mood-boosting hues throughout. Expansive windows and soaring ceilings in the living room helps to not only illuminate the area with natural light, but also capture the waterfront views.
The interiors are filled with custom designed pieces sourced from fine home furnishings retailers such as Hickory Chair and Lillian August. Custom details such as trim work and built-ins are prominent throughout this spectacular waterfront property. The 12×20 gray and white geometric patterned area rug grounding the living room furnishings was sourced from Fay + Belle. The design team sourced a over ten rugs for this home from Fay + Belle, all custom fabricated to work with the color scheme.

Above: In the kitchen the paint color selected by the designer is Sherwin Williams Passive 7064. The cabinetry and trim paint color is Benjamin Moore White Heron OC-57. While the ceiling is painted in Benjamin Moore Paper White, in a flat finish. The Calcutta Extra marble countertop features a double ogee edge…. loving the blue stove and desk chair as a nice pop of contrast! The backsplash is Calcutta Extra slab.
Above: The exquisite French range showcased above is a La Cornue Grand Palais 180, described as the “crown jewel of the Château Series, commanding respect and admiration in any kitchen. Almost 6 feet in length, the range boasts one grand vaulted gas oven and one grand vaulted electric oven, set beneath one of seven rangetop configurations.”
The color can also be custom designed to fit your space, the one above is in Cobalt Blue. If you are looking for a showpiece kitchen, this would be a beautiful finishing touch!

Above: We love the idea of using open storage as opposed to traditional cabinets (especially for a small bathroom). A fantastic way to display your accessories or extra towels for guests.
Above: The bed in a cozy guest bedroom is flanked by Tansu 2-Drawer Side Tables in navy blue, complimented by Tao lamps in a white porcelain glaze with a gold leaf base. Both were sourced from Bungalow 5.
Above: In the guest bathroom, the custom cabinets were painted in Benjamin Moore’s White Heron, in a satin finish. While the wallcovering is Songyue Pearl by Thibaut. The countertop is white quartz. The shower, which can be seen as a reflection in the mirror, is a glass subway tile in cobalt blue.
Above: In a powder bathroom, the Chelsey mirror from Made Goods adds a glamorous touch. The vanity paint color is Benjamin Moore White Heron OC-57. A pocket door conceals the water closet, which features white subway tile and “Best in Show” wallcovering by Osborne & Little.
Above: A playful laundry room scheme features cabinetry painted in Benjamin Moore’s Organdy 1248. Love the animal print wallcovering from Schumacher! The countertop is a white quartz. A drying rack on the wall is always a great addition.
