The exterior facade of the home is sheathed with corten steel plates (this steel has a combination of high strength and excellent resistance to atmosphere corrosion and is used where weight reduction and reduced maintenance cost is a consideration). A brown rust-tone structure is harmoniously joined in a soft, calm tone of the Baltic Sea. All the tall windows and doors can be closed off by perforated steel with automatic shutters. The interior echoes the exterior, open design and rough texture in the industrial style. The brickwork has been covered with white paint, so that the texture is visible. Also finished are all the new load-bearing walls and ceilings. Reinforced concrete ceiling panels and beams have only been slightly restored and maintained almost to its original appearance. Bearing rails on the ceiling of the original bluish color have been washed and covered with furniture wax. Via
