Nelson Residential Design together with Zehnder Homes designed this timeless modern farmhouse nestled on a .65-acre woodsy property in Edina, an inviting suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Encompassing 5,244 square feet of living space, there are five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms in this luxurious residence.
The goal of this home was to seamlessly blend into a neighborhood characterized by older, modest homes. The solution was to design a new two-story residence with the appearance of a century-old white farmhouse. Continue below to see the rest of this spectacular home tour…

What We Love: This modern farmhouse in Minnesota presents a timeless exterior while the interiors showcase a modern yet family-oriented design. Living spaces are warm and inviting with plenty of space for entertaining, enjoying family activities, and lounging. Throughout the house, the eye-pleasing pops of black provide contrast to the home’s clean lines and timeless aesthetic. The functional and practical elements and the lower-level entertainment area are all fabulous details for family living.
