J Dahl Design in collaboration with Gonterman Custom Homes has designed this drool-worthy modern farmhouse located in Huntington Beach, California. This residence was designed as a family home for the builder, his wife, and three teenage kids. The family enjoys vacations to California wine country, which inspired the design of their newly built home.
On the exterior facade, you will find a metal seam roof and a combination of white fieldstone and wood paneling, materials you would expect to find in a Napa Valley farmhouse. The paneling is painted in a custom black color from Dunn-Edwards paint. Surrounding this home, the landscape is a mixture of drought-resistant plants, olive trees, and a pair of small palm trees.
