45 Architecture & Interiors has designed The Rico Residence, a 5,142-square-foot midcentury modern home featuring sightlines worth celebrating, located in Bozeman, Montana. In the distance, the majestic mountain range reaches towards the sky, and the valley sprawls below—all captured through unobstructed panoramic windows. The heart is the hub of this home with an open kitchen, living, and dining spaces, while wings for private living and guest quarters extend in both directions.

A gallery hall with punch-out windows connects the spaces, allowing sunshine to pour in. Contemporary finishes like marble counters and brushed silver fixtures give spa-like luxury, while the living areas are organic, tactile, and cozy. The home is uncluttered and well-curated throughout, each element precise in its purpose. Rico Residence exists as a testament to harmony in form and function, nature and nurture.

What We Love: This midcentury modern home in Montana features a fabulous indoor-outdoor living experience, soaking in views of the spectacular surroundings. We love the mix of materials on the exterior facade and the expansive walls of glazing that flood the interiors with natural light. Overall, the project team did an amazing job of creating a home that beautifully blends with its stunning natural environment while offering a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
