This warm and welcoming house was designed by H Design Group together with Obelisk Home, situated in Springfield, Missouri. Designed for a family of four, this home was infused with youthful energy and sophistication by artfully mixing periods, styles, and moods to bring an eclectic mix to the interior scheme.

The objective was to create a new home that looks like an old stone structure converted into a modern day family house. This residence consists of five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, multiple living areas, four covered porches, a pergola, and stone planters – all coming together to make a perfect home. The island is made of natural hickory with a quartz countertop that has the look and feel of marble.

Gorgeous exterior sandstone, but why wasn’t it also brought inside? The odd fireplace stone speaks a different language than what greets you upon entry. And the wallpaper choices? Hmmm. Overall, a great opening, but a mixed and disappointing performance.
