Meriwether Design Group is responsible for creating this gorgeous modern farmhouse-style home in the picturesque countryside of Atlanta, Georgia. The architectural design of this home is a juxtaposition between a farm heritage and modern living. Encompassing 5,000 square feet of living space, this home was designed for a nature-loving family who grew up in the Midwest.
The owners had lived a fast-paced lifestyle because of their work but decided to put down roots for the first time and make a “home”. For the architects, their goal was to create a totally customized space that was almost a diary of their lives in all the rooms, while emphasizing their love of the outdoors.
What We Love: This refreshing modern farmhouse in Georgia offers warm and inviting living spaces for family living and entertaining. Living spaces were designed to feel intimate, and decorated with comfortable and stylish furnishings and accessories to create a homey atmosphere. Large windows help to flood the interiors with natural light while framing views of the tranquil countryside that surrounds this beautiful home. We are especially loving the sunroom, a relaxing space for family gathering or just curling up with a good book!
Tell Us: What do you think of the overall design of this home? If this was your family home, are there any details in the design that you would do differently? Please let us know in the Comments below, we love reading your feedback!
