Veritas Fine Homes in collaboration with D’Amore Interiors has designed this beautiful mountain ranch house, located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Inspired by the abundant meadows, landmark peaks and wildlife, and bluebird skylines, this linear hilltop home offers several interior and exterior living spaces to enjoy all nature has to offer.

With a sprawling floor plan and eight sliding glass wall systems, the joining of both man-made and natural materials celebrates the site’s surroundings while capturing the homeowner’s dreams.

The owner’s primary 3.5-car garage is stacked over a private four-car ‘toy box’ where sporting and recreational fun is housed. With over 1,500 acres of privacy, this ranch will undoubtedly be enjoyed for generations to come.

As you enter the home through the modern curved entry roof and walk through to the focal vista, you realize you’ve stepped into paradise. Everything from the foundation, mechanical systems, construction of the home as well as the quality and high-end finishes and furnishing, this home is both striking but also hugs you at the same time.

Boasting tall ceilings, two walk-through breezeways with lift and slide doors provide comfortable transitions between living and entertaining areas and private sleeping suites. The many outdoor cooking and party patios allow for both large and intimate gatherings and conversation areas without overcrowding any particular space.

This dwelling was designed to connect the owners with nature. The finishes throughout were designed to incorporate the same palette found on the exterior to smooth the transition to the interior. The sofa was sourced from Eleanor Rigby Home and the coffee table is from Taracea. The faux plants are from Beck’s Silk Plant. Grounding this space, the area rug is from Kalaty Rug.

Above: The entryway leads to an expansive common area lounge nestled beneath the tower staircase. There’s not a room in this house that didn’t take into consideration the views, and the designer’s goal was to respect that with clean, low-profile furnishings in neutral yet textural palettes. The sofa was sourced from Four Hands Furniture, while the ottoman is from Alder and Tweed Interior Design. Grounding this space, the rug is from Feizy Rugs. The artwork on the wall came from Left Bank Art.

Above: This home office is situated on the second level of the tower, also maximizing the incredible views of the property. Green shagreen textured wallpaper gave this space a cozy fun vibe, while also creating the backdrop for this magnificent one-of-a-kind desk by Willard Woodworking Co. The burled maple slab was cut and reversed so the live edge landed on the inside of the table, creating a river of frosted epoxy down the mitered side of the desk. The nature-inspired tones and textures complimented this environment perfectly. The desk chair is from Vanguard Furniture, while the other chairs were sourced from Bernhardt Furniture.
