The heavy timbers, stone accents, and natural building materials give the home a rustic feel, which pairs nicely with the rugged, remote location of the home. This was balanced out with high ceilings, lots of natural lighting, and an open floor plan to give the interior spaces a lighter feel.

The project team collaborated with the homeowners, who are from North Carolina and have been coming to Big Sky for years, to create a dream home that is perfect for entertaining. The hand-forged custom lighting throughout the house gives the home an old-world feel as you sit in front of one of the four massive stone fireplaces.
