I’m so tired of the “Montana reclaimed wood” architecture. Locati got this started decades ago. Everyone copied. It’s time to move on.

Jerry Locati is an artistic and architectural genius…the “Reclaimed-wood Timber framed homes” that he designs with their classic antique oil-rubbed bronze fixtures are timeless, quintessential Montana! It is the “contemporary, clean-lined structures with cold, sterile gray/chrome/glass accents” that are ruining Montana. These “trendy” designs will be “out of style” in a few years but the landscape will be cluttered by these ugly and out-of-place structures for years. The only thing the “clean-lined” structures need is a good bulldozer!
Long live the warm traditional, timber-framed lodge style structures of Montana. If you don’t like it, then PLEASE go back to California!
