Step into this beautiful Georgian Revival home in the Pacific Palisades

traditional-home-exterior

This gorgeous Georgian Revival home in Pacific Palisades, California was custom designed by Tim Barber Architects and Kristen Panitch Interiors. Well-proportioned rooms and magical natural light bring serenity and warmth to this thoughtful dwelling. The exterior of the residence features shingle and slate cladding, along with a broad breezeway, stone chimneys, and tall windows, giving it a distinct and elegant appearance that suits the needs of an active family of four.

Inside the home, inventive yet familiar details can be found in abundance. For example, there are pullout trays in the study for convenient morning coffee, hidden doors that add an element of surprise, a laundry chute for easy access, and storage cabinets and secret kid spaces cleverly integrated into the attic. The house even includes a private passage that leads to a dedicated yoga room, providing a true escape for relaxation and exercise.

Practicality and organization were key considerations in the design of this home. The mudroom features cubbies for storing items, bookcases offer ample space for books and decorative items, a telephone table provides a designated spot for communication, and window seat storage adds functionality while maximizing space. Additionally, a true butler’s pantry is available to store and organize various kitchen and entertaining essentials.
