A gorgeous modern dream home in Illinois with a farmhouse twist

modern-farmhouse-exterior

This modern dream home was designed by Studio 1 Architects in collaboration with Amy Storm & Company, located in Wheaton, Illinois. The homeowner’s original vision was a modern farmhouse, however, as the design progressed, the emphasis became far more on the modern part of that equation.

Throughout the interior, the palette is primarily black, white, and gray, which may sound basic, but the designer dialed up the drama with a few unexpected flourishes.

Can you tell me where the rug in the entry way is from? The one under the ceiling with wallpaper.
