Jean Stoffer Design in collaboration with Kenowa Builders is responsible for the renovation of this historic home built in 1905, located in the heart of Heritage Hill, a residential neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The designer and her partner, Kenowa Builders, originally purchased this home with the intention of fixing it up and selling it. Yet, three years later, the designer fell in love and decided to keep it as her personal family home.

This charming abode boasts 8,500 square feet of living space, all of which underwent a complete overhaul. The designer worked with skilled tradespeople to transform this drab historic home into a beautiful work of art. Continue below to see the rest of this truly stunning home tour…

What We Love: This historic home renovation provides beautiful details throughout that make it feel warm and inviting. Everything in this home was carefully considered to create a harmonious and timeless feel that will be enjoyed for years to come. We are especially loving the light-filled kitchen with its two-tone cabinetry, gorgeous light fixtures, and interior windows — storm windows repurposed from the sunroom.

Tell Us: What details in this renovation project do you find most inspiring? Let us know in the Comments, we love reading your feedback!
