An inviting beach house with soothing living spaces in Newport Beach

beach-house-exterior

Brandon Architects in collaboration with Brooke Wagner Design has created this beautifully inviting beach house located in Newport Beach, California. Sited near Balboa Island’s only bridge entry and next to its only park, this fabulous residence features traditional white wood siding to create a warm beach house feel for its occupants.

Taking advantage of its site and proximity to the adjacent park, the project team worked to maximize natural light and exposure with designed fronts facing both the park and ocean channel. Rich wood details complement the white wood siding that can be found throughout this 3,250 square foot home.

What We Love: This inviting Newport Beach house offers lovely details and superior craftsmanship throughout. Light-filled living spaces are designed with stylish furnishings and accessories to give this home personality and charm. Expansive glazing takes advantage of the water views to create a feeling of relaxation and tranquility, a wonderful feature for any seaside home. We are especially loving the clean-lined kitchen, with its marble waterfall island, open shelving, and custom hood — every detail is impeccable.

Tell Us: What design details do you find most appealing and what would you change if this was your home? Please share your thoughts in the Comments below!
