This stunning colonial farmhouse style home features tailored yet subtly modern living spaces designed by Murphy & Co. Design, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The design of this home is inspired by rural Pennsylvanian farmstead homes built in the 18th and 19th centuries, paired with an interior based on modern day living.
The exterior facade of this 4,200 square foot home is clad with cedar shingles, while a seperate carriage house is connected via a series of clapboard sited “additions”. Step inside this inviting home to find formally arranged living spaces that are very open to one another.

“Classically styled millwork details blend harmoniously with a fresh approach to interior finishes, combining industrial, modern, and historically traditional appointments,” states the architects. The living room is approximately 16′ x 18′.
