This gorgeous dream home is the personal family home of designer Chelsey Hale Design, located in Midway, a city in northwestern Wasatch County, Utah. Throughout the interiors, you will find fresh details and a soft color palette of white and neutral linens along with a layering of textures and pops of color in the accent pillows and decor.
This newly built home has a very vintage traditional look with all of the updated classics and pretty feminine touches throughout the design. Notable details include the highly functional (and stunning) kitchen and pantry, tile wood-look floors with light trim, and the marble hexagon tile in the guest bathroom.

Sikes for Hudson Valley Lighting’s Painted No.1 Pendant in the pantry alongside Visual Comfort’s Gale Library Light. The walls are painted in Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee OC-45.

What We Love: This Utah dream home provides a family with beautiful living spaces that are timeless and functional. Our favorite design feature in this home is the gorgeous kitchen with its exquisite pendant lights, an abundance of storage options, and a decadent stove. Of course, the pantry is equally exquisite, with so much extra functionality and clever places to neatly tuck messes out of the way, perfect for family living!

The kitchen features a blend of hidden storage spaces to open shelving for serving pieces and dishes on display. “I think it’s good to decide what fits your lifestyle and how you will function in your kitchen to have items easily accessible that you use daily. Don’t be afraid to use the items on your shelves and make sure everything is functional as much as it is pretty,” states designer Chelsey Hale.

Above: A stunning pantry/prep kitchen. It’s a great space to hide all of the appliances and keep jars of ingredients out that are easy to get to. This sink wall has an ice maker, a second dishwasher, and trash drawers with a filtered cold water faucet to make filling up water bottles a breeze. The cabinetry hardware is by Rejuvenation, unlacquered brass with large latches.

Above: Bringing this iron stair railing to life was no easy task for the designer. To get enough details on the handrail while also getting the brass balls in the right size, she spent time at the metal shop seeing how each piece would fit together. The brass nails on the end caps are one of her favorite touches.
Above: The window seat brings detail and charm into this playroom. Outdoor performance fabric was used for the cushion to provide extra durability. Pillows are upholstered in Schumacher fabric and beautifully complement the gray cabinets. The charming Roman shade in the window is by Uptown Drapes. The cabinetry pulls are from Rejuvenation.
Above: This little girl’s bedroom features so many lovely details. The colorful pillow fabrics are by Schumacher. The window seat has storage underneath with a wall of cabinets and open shelves filled with scalloped baskets to match the rattan wall sconce from Serena & Lily.
Above: Built-in bunk beds create such a fun space, as they completely transform a room. Shiplap details on the inside of these bunks along with the brass reading lights add to the overall perfection of this space. These beds are full-size with a trundle bed that rolls out to maximize the space for more kids to sleep in here.
Above: These comfy chairs (Newport Lounger from Serena & Lily) are the perfect spot to lounge with some books to read, providing a cozy hideaway.
Above: The boys shared J&J bathroom is full of details such as the tiled wall and marble backsplash with a white oak vanity and open storage below. Carrara marble is used throughout the bathroom floor and tub to create a timeless look that will grow with the boys.
