This gorgeous home with an organic mountain style aesthetic was designed by Divine Custom Homes, nestled on a wooded 3-acre property in West Lakeland, Minnesota. Working in collaboration with the homeowners, this lodge style home takes its cue from the natural surroundings. The goal was to create a home that, once inside, makes you feel like you are in the mountains of Aspen.
Encompassing 5,200-square-feet, the project team focused on creating a rustic feel throughout every aspect of this home. Inside you will find a rugged and refined character portrayed through the vaulted ceiling, barn timber trusses and floor-to-ceiling stone clad fireplace. The airy entrance provides sweeping views of open living, dining, and kitchen spaces.

Superior craftsmanship can be seen in the stonework, reclaimed Wisconsin barn timbers, knotty alder cabinetry, and hickory flooring giving the home a warm, organic, authentic mountain feel.
What We Love: This organic mountain style home offers its inhabitants the authentic feel of a lodge house without having to live in the mountains. Large windows flood the interiors with natural light while framing views of this home’s spectacular woodsy setting. Drawing on nature for the material palette of this home, living spaces feel warm and inviting throughout, creating a very habitable atmosphere.
