Breathtaking lakefront dream house in the Laurentian Mountains

This lakefront dream house was designed by architectural studio BONE Structure, located in the Laurentian Mountains, a mountain range in southern Quebec, Canada. An open floor plan on the interior offers unobstructed views through expansive windows of the lake and mountains. The soaring ceilings and large windows also help to illuminate the interiors with natural light.

The architecture of this dwelling is characterized, among other things, by a massive sloping roof that provides a direct link with the views of surrounding mountains. A double volume living room, which is at the heart of this home features a spectacular floor-to-ceiling fireplace and impressive windows. An incredible floating staircase with a glass railing allows light to filter through the interiors.

What We Love: This lakefront dream house features extensive glazing to take advantage of the impressive lakeside setting. Clean lines and modern design features help to not detract from the views. Overall this home offers its inhabitants a relaxing atmosphere to unwind, courtesy of the peaceful surroundings.
