This lovely seaside cottage is designed by Vaccaro Architecture in collaboration with Lisa Furey Interiors, located at Haig Point, Daufuskie Island, South Carolina. Built by Osprey Construction, this cottage is part of a collection of 12 individually unique coastal cottages designed to withstand the daily wear and tear of island living, kids and pets, yet still feel luxurious as well as comfortable. Wide plank wood flooring, large covered porches, natural materials as finishes, an open floor plan and hand built cabinetry are some of the signature elements that make this 2,641 square foot home special.
This serene, custom designed sea island cottage encompasses three bedroom, three-and-half bathrooms. Thoughtfully designed interiors creates intimate and family gathering spaces for family living and entertaining. Handcrafted woodwork and exquisite architectural details helps to integrate the interior with the natural surroundings. A third floor attic provides a bonus space. Outside, the back covered porch provides a tranquil place to relax and enjoy seaside living. There is also a private dock at the water’s edge.
What We Love: This charming seaside cottage offers an inviting exterior facade, from the board and batten siding to the generous porch. Step inside to find a spacious floor plan with light-filled living spaces and a harmonious flow. The design team did a fabulous job of creating private living spaces mixed with family gathering areas to create an idyllic seaside abode.
