This stunning newly constructed country farmhouse is designed by Lisa Furey Interiors, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by an idyllic setting, this home sits on a hillside overlooking a weeping willow tree, barn and a pond. The goal for the design of this home, create warm and inviting living spaces that are kid and pet friendly.
Durable finishes were selected throughout, all with the feeling of “warmth”. Wide plank, oiled white quarter-sawn oak floors, shiplap white-painted wood walls, warm cabinetry colors, brick walls and floors and high end, luxury fittings all combined to create a luxury home that just feels downright comfortable.
Above: The front entry mixes beauty and functionality. A beautiful mirror above the console table is the 3-Piece Grand Palais Mirror from Ballard Designs. Adding a wreath to the mirror creates an organic and inviting.
Above: The kitchen backsplash is Savannah Grey brick. Window above the sink overlooks the kid’s “homework room”, painted in Wrought Iron 2124-10 | Benjamin Moore. Cabinets are inset shaker custom cabinets, painted in French Gray – Farrow & Ball. Countertops are quartz.
What We Love: This gorgeous country farmhouse offers its inhabitants plenty of warmth and comfort throughout. Living spaces are bright and airy with a soothing color palette and durable materials. We are especially loving the kitchen with its brick walls, crisp white countertops, beautiful cabinetry and reclaimed wood shelving.
