Stephen Alexander Homes designed this coastal-chic cottage that features turn-of-the-century Nantucket charm and 21st century amenities, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Every part of this home is designed to be useful, eliminating wasted space while allowing for maximum lifestyle. Nestled on a unique waterfront setting, this “Coastal Virginia Idea House” boasts 4,216 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms.
The exterior facade is characterized by gray shingles with white trim and a black front door, while creating a vibe of a 100-year old home with a modern makeover. Lush, environmentally sensitive landscaping helps to nestle this home into its natural setting. The setting is enhanced by an exquisite outdoor space, which consists of a concrete swimming pool adorned with travertine and synthetic turf. This expansive outdoor space also boasts an outdoor kitchen and a pool house with a kitchenette.
