Design Associates Architects along with KAM Designs is responsible for the design of this mountain modern home located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. With sleek yet charming interiors, this 7,000 square foot home offers six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. Built by Mortensen Signature Homes, this striking dwelling was crafted to maximize views of Sleeping Indian Mountain and Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Even the chandeliers were kept light in scale in order to enhance the mesmerizing views.
Adding to the mountain modern aesthetics, the project team selected 100-year old reclaimed timbers mixed with rift oak cabinetry. Rooms are spacious with a mix of antiqued hardwood flooring, framed by stone and skip troweled glazed walls. Large timbers frame the great room, gourmet kitchen and formal dining room. The master bedroom wing showcases fireside comfort, a spa-sized bath, a huge boutique closet and his/hers luxury accommodations.
A stunning vacation getaway for a young and active family, the designer kept this home functional and comfortable. The goal was to create an escape for the homeowners to entertain, be together as a family and enjoy the outdoors. The interiors were kept light and airy with an overall modern feel. The designer brought natural elements inside, inspired by this home’s spectacular surroundings.
What We Love: This mountain modern design boasts floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, highlighting breathtaking mountain and valley views. A spacious floor plan makes this getaway ideal for both family living and entertaining in style. Large windows blurs the lines between indoors and out, while stone patios offer an idyllic place to relax, entertain and enjoy the rugged 12,805′ peaks… Readers, what do you think of this mountain dwelling, would this be your ideal place to relax and unwind?
