Today we present to you this absolutely incredible ski chalet that will take your breath away by its warmth and beauty in design. Slopeside Chalets is a picturesque two-storey ski lodge located in the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, designed by design firm Locati Architects & Interiors. The project is comprised of two individual residences, each boasting close proximity to the nearby ski hill and unobstructed mountain views.
“In order to maintain the architectural integrity of the area, the chalets were built with primarily wood, stone, as well as reclaimed timbers,” explains the architects. “The primary focus of the homeowners was to build a mountain rustic home that would be ideal for entertaining out-of-town family and friends; as well as a residence that would showcase the area’s world-class ski terrain and surrounding mountain views.”
“Each chalet comes complete with all of the amenities required for luxury living along with many additional spaces such as a recreational room, home bar, ski room, library, and six guest suites. In addition to a plethora of the indoor spaces for comfortable mountain living, the chalets possess several covered patios for sublime indoor/outdoor living. Complete with overhead covering and fireplaces, these patios are perfect for gatherings year round.”
What We Love: This mountain rustic home offers comfortable yet sophisticated living spaces with large windows, framing spectacular views of the rugged mountains.
