Mediterranean style home exudes chic design details in Texas

This mediterranean style home was designed by custom luxury design studio Jauregui Architecture Interiors Construction, located in Austin, Texas. This dream home boasts clean lines and chic design details throughout, while keeping its Texan charm. Encompassing just over 7,200 square feet of living space, the goal of this project was to cater to the lifestyle needs of the family. This included spaces to enjoy family game night, entertaining guests and extra bedrooms for sleepovers.

Above: The stone used to frame the shrubbery border is chopped shellstone in irregular sizes.

Above: The stone flooring around the custom designed water fountain is called Old Chicago reclaimed Buff in a basket weave pattern—sourced from the Western Brick Company. The stucco on the exterior facade of this home was painted in Brown Bag by Glidden.

Above: The paint color used on the walls is ICI Flat Paint in Light Navajo-A0842. The ceiling is made out of 3×6 stone tile laid in a herringbone pattern. To cover the seams on the ceiling, the architects used a half round tile molding that matched the travertine tile on the ceiling. A similar light fixture for the ceiling can be found in the Crystorama Solaris collection.

Above: The exquisite dining table features a natural slab of wood with rough edges.

Above: The backsplash above the range is a tumbled travertine stone in a 3×6 herringbone pattern. The island features a a special finish done with a mixture of several paints and stains. Any custom cabinet designer can copy this aesthetic for you if you like the look!

Above: The chandelier above the kitchen island is the Gramercy 9-light chandelier from Currey & Company. The chandelier above the dining table and in the living room is the Bobo Intriguing Objects 6 Light Wine Barrel Chandelier. A similar light fixture can also be found at Restoration Hardware, the Wine Barrel 2-Tier Chandelier.

Above: The headboard of this master bedroom was custom designed to anchor the room’s overall design. The fabricators of this headboard is Houston-based Custom Creations Furniture. The bench is from Hickory Chair Company. The bed was sourced from Ferguson Copeland, as were the bedside tables.
