This modernist desert home, whose architecture and construction was commissioned by The Construction Zone is located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. With a dramatic renovation in 2016, this ranch house was transformed into a luminous gem. What began as a simple remodel turned into rebuilding the entire home! The homeowners and architect agreed, the original home just did not suit its surroundings—which includes panoramic views of Camelback Mountain.
The overall design consisted of 3,500 square feet of living space. After a full gut renovation, practical and aesthetic changes gave this home a stunning new look. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows, this design of this property concentrated on maximizing views of the surrounding rugged desert landscape and mountains. AK Studio was responsible for the interiors of this fascinating desert dwelling.

What We Love: This modernist desert home strikes a perfect balance between open plan spaces and private spaces with some creative ingenuity. Serene white walls throughout the interiors helps to reflect light while not detracting from the rugged desert landscape views. The walls also serve as the perfect backdrop to highlight the homeowners furnishings and art collection. This is the perfect home for relaxing and entertaining, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space… Readers, we would love to hear your feedback on this desert pad, what features do you find most intriguing?
