This striking modern family home located in Sag Harbor, New York was designed by Timothy Godbold, with an emphasis on European and Scandinavian design influences. The residence was constructed by Tom O’Donoghue Associates, with architectural design by Kyle McArdie. The interior color palette of this five bedroom, five bathroom home was designed to create a sense of calmness and tranquility. Tones were kept neutral to draw out the warmth and texture of the wood and wall finishes.
The heart of the features an expansive communal dining table, helping to create a visual separation of space between the kitchen and living areas. In the open kitchen, custom flat panel cabinetry reflects clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. The focus in this space is on the marble walls and beautifully hand-crafted white oak cabinetry. Small details throughout the home makes it feel one-of-a-kind, such as the white oak door handles sourced from the Netherlands.
