Colorado ranch house with brilliant indoor-outdoor lifestyle

Contemporary Ranch House-Nest Architecture-01-1 Kindesign

Nest Architectural Design along with Cadre General Contractors designed this single-story contemporary ranch house in Belcaro, a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The interiors of this home harmoniously flow from one to the next, offering large atrium spaces. Shared main living spaces are connected to children’s sleeping zones and a master bedroom suite.

“Recycled Wyoming snow fences serve as exterior facades, while stacked limestone and metal roofing bring the architectural details to life. Exposed steel trusses balance the modern interior spaces. This residence was built around a sunken exterior courtyard that illuminates the entire basement with natural light,” states Cadre General Contractors.

What We Love: This contemporary ranch style house showcases beautiful indoor-outdoor living spaces that are seamlessly connected. The wood flooring throughout the main living spaces helps to infuse warmth into the otherwise contemporary design. The use of wood on the exterior facade also helps to add a warm and welcoming feel to this home, greeting guests from the point of entry. The feeling of spaciousness and the open floor plan helps to facilitate an simple entertaining lifestyle for the homeowners… Readers, please share with us your favorite features of the design of this home in the comments below.
