This home was designed for a couple and their newborn child, born during the construction of this home. Consisting of 3,000 square feet of living space, there are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two powder bathrooms. An interesting fact about this home, it was featured in the television series “This Old House”. ย The home is a combination of traditional farmhouse style and industrial, styled to fit the homeowners varying tastes. You will find a mix of barn doors, shiplap and architectural salvage throughout the interiors.
Another interesting detail about this home, is that the builder, Connor Homes, specializes in producing panelized homes that have an historical aesthetic on the exterior facade. The interiors are customized to fit modern living. Everything is designed in a factory and then shipped to the site, where it is assembled. This particular home most closely resembles the Federal style, called “The Sarah Taylor House“.
