This stunning mountain retreat was designed by Locati Architects, and built by Schlauch Bottcher Construction, located in the Yellowstone Club, Big Sky, Montana. Spano Residence is a vacation home, custom built to reflect its natural surroundings. The exterior facade of the property features extensive stone masonry, which helps to connect the structure to its site. The use of reclaimed wood timbers compliments the stone, lending a sense of scale to both the interior and exterior of the dwelling.

Gorgeous, timeless and one-of-a-kind best describes this mountain home. The home was designed to maximize its panoramic views of the rugged countryside. The main entryway that leads up to the dwelling is detailed with beautiful reclaimed timber trusses. This eye-catching material is used throughout the main gathering spaces of the home. A combination of old-world plaster, wood and stone adds warmth, color and comfort to the interior living spaces.

This attractive home was installed with Montana Rockworks Castle Rock full thickness Ledge, Squares & Rectangles. Every room in this home was designed with impeccable detailing, creating an awe-inspiring dream home — deeming it Mountain Living Magazine’s Home of the Year in 2006!
